Peralogos with its chestnut trees, the verdant slopes of holly, cedar, fir and sycamore trees and at the top of the village Kefalari with its fir trees, short-leaved firs, cedars and chestnut trees are the apotheosis of nature. A smaller village than Ano Chora, but it is just as beautiful and quieter and is an ideal spot for hiking excursions. The small stone and wooden houses resembling Swiss chalets, surrounded by dense mountain vegetation, link together a picture of a bygone era.

ambelakiotissa

Known by its older name of Kozitsa, the village is drenched in greenery, like most villages in the area. It is not far from Ano Chora, with the rocky peak of Tsekoura dominating the landscape, and overlooks the wild gorge of Kakavos, where the famous stone bridge is located. For lovers of nature and tranquility, it is the ideal choice for a refreshing escape away from the closed city. Here, things are simple and the pace is decidedly more relaxed.
