The stream of Sergoula or Sergoulopotamos originates near the area of Trikorfos Doris and ends next to the beach of Sergoula. From Nafpaktos going east, after about 25 km we turn right at the exit for Sergoula, then left under a bridge and immediately right on the dirt road, at the end of which we park. At the first fork we see we go left, after a while we cross a bridge and continue left until the path ends and the route now runs through the stream. After about half an hour in total, passing by beautiful small and larger waterfalls and rocks with stalactites, we reach the impressive and large waterfall of Sergoulopotamos, where we can even swim. The route contains some treacherous and technical parts, so it is advisable to have a basic experience before attempting it and should be done while wearing shoes.
